I've always been fascinated by language.
I graduated from the Polish Philology Department, and next I studied at the Institute of English Studies (both at the University of Warsaw). I devoured hundreds of books, tried to write myself, worked as a translator.
However, the language of images proved to be even more appealing.
It's a universal language, it communicates directly and immediately, there's no need for translation, there's no barrier of words, there are no ruts of linear logic.
An image can say many different things at the same time - in the blink of an eye.
The image I create can go straight to your mind and heart. And I love that.
And I love that I work with Daniel Zarewicz which means that the photographic power is doubled.

I am a visual artist and a photographer and hold a Ph.D. in humanities.
My works and knowledge, my interests and sensitivity are the result of many years of study culminating in a doctorate in classical philology focusing on anthropology and the culture of ancient Greeks. Moreover, I have experience in the fields of art history, literature, cultural studies, philosophy, ethnology, religious studies, theater, and other disciplines of science and art that I have encountered over the years.
With Kinga Karpati, I am engaged in professional photography, working with artists, and cultural institutions daily.
