About Kinga Karpati

I’ve always been fascinated by language.
I graduated from the Polish Philology Department, and next I studied at the Institute of English Studies (both at the University of Warsaw). I devoured hundreds of books, tried to write myself, worked as a translator.
However, the language of images proved to be even more appealing.
It’s a universal language, it communicates directly and immediately, there’s no need for translation, there’s no barrier of words, there are no ruts of linear logic.
An image can say many different things at the same time – in the blink of an eye. The image I create can go straight to your mind and heart. And I love that.

And I love that I work with Daniel Zarewicz which means that the photographic power is doubled.
